Wow!
Its been a fantastic week since the BBC feature and its true to say that we are absolutely flat out coping with the tidal wave of responses. We are getting out membership forms and packs as quickly as possible. If anyone wants to gain some voluntary work experience a couple of hours per day could they email their CV please to richard@urbanwineco.com
At least we have lots of vines in storage and so new members can expect some beautiful vines and we will be looking to sign more people up at the Thames festival at the wine bar on the 12th September.
Also planning a post harvest party after all the hard work in October and this will include some live music, great food, nice wine of course and a great chance to get all the urban wine members together. It promises to be a lovely event and be great to get everyone together for a night of fun. Kind of like an urban barn dance! Also on the look out for interesting venues to hire for this and this might include a boat along the Thames. Suggestions please!
